Summer Projects
The team has been active over the summer with lots of coding. Several students, both alumni and newbies, are being trained in programming. The team has set new programming conventions for all to follow. We have the tank redesign, starting with an automated elevator. We had two small projects; new graphics for the trailer and a Makerpipe Pit Stand. To see the makerpipe video click here (our team is at 2:34)

Summer Tours
Students and parents of the team visited BMW Factory and Hartness International in June 2016. There is nothing cooler than seeing robotics in action in a real world setting. Thanks!

Smokey Mountain Regional 2016
Last minute registration since our robot was looking and performing so great and our drive team was amazing. Major gear failure but another miraculous save got us into Quarterfinals AGAIN! Innovation in Controls Award, great job!

Upstate Bussiness Manufacturers BBQ

Our team was invited to showcase our robot at the Upstate Manufacturers BBQ for somewhere between 600 and 700 people. The team had a fun time talking to bussiness leaders around SC and we truly enjoyed meeting Senator Tim Scott along with several possible sponsors. We were thrilled to allow other people to test drive our robot. We are very glad to see he won his election after we got the oportunity and privledge to meet him at the BBQ.

SCRIW Invitational

South Carolina Robotics Invitational and Workshops October 11, 2014

FIRST Teams came together to play the 2014 game Aerial Assist. As first year competitors we had a 8-2 win/loss record going into finals, finished 4th overall, was the first alliance to score triple digits, and rotated alot of rookie team members on the drive team. Overall a very successful day and Finalists for the 2014 SCRIW Competition.
